View September Flyer: Engineering Evaluations of Fire Damaged Structures

9/11/2008 - Engineering Evaluations of Fire Damaged Structures
Derek Pumphrey, P.E., of Professional Investigative Engineers will inform the RMPCA on the importance of the exact type of material damage that can occur to residential and commercial structures during fire and fire suppression events. Most of these structures are composed of wood, concrete, steel and masonry. However, a combination of these materials is typically present in all existing buildings, so different approaches are required. Derek will discuss these various materials and give examples with repair recommendations. Join the RMPCA at our New Location! Registration starts at 11:30 at The Crystal Rose on Hampden, across from Kennedy Golf Course. Lunch is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.RSVP Now!
